What to Expect in Class
Every class at CrossFit Dayton is a coached 60-minute session with the same welcoming structure. Walk in, and your coach takes it from there — here's exactly how the hour unfolds.
The Hour
One Class, Five Parts
- 15 min
Whiteboard Brief
Your coach gathers the class, explains the day's workout, demonstrates every movement, and shows the scaling options for each level.
- 25–10 min
Warm-Up
A guided warm-up prepares the exact muscles and movement patterns you'll use — no guessing, no being left on your own.
- 310–20 min
Skill / Strength
Focused practice on a lift or skill — like a squat, press, or pull-up progression — with hands-on coaching at your pace and load.
- 410–20 min
Workout of the Day (WOD)
The main event: a constantly varied workout scaled to your ability. Your coach watches every rep and adjusts on the fly.
- 55 min
Cool-Down
Guided stretching and a chance to log your score, ask questions, and high-five the people who just finished alongside you.
